In 2021, I followed my family tree to the picturesque island town of Termini Imerese, Sicily. Over 100 years ago, my Longo ancestors left this beautiful place to begin a new chapter in America, and I felt a pull to see where it all began. From the moment I set foot in Termini, it was love at first sight. I just knew: this was where I was meant to be.

Fast forward to 2023, after months of searching, I finally found not one but two incredible homes here. It was a leap of faith (and a whole lot of paperwork!), but I’m now knee-deep in renovating them. The dream? To create a stunning vacation home rental where you, too, can fall in love with Sicily.

Let’s be real—it’s been a rollercoaster! This renovation project has turned out to be way bigger (and pricier!) than I imagined, but every day gets me closer to opening the doors to La Casa Longo for all of you. I can’t wait to share it with you.
